Relief Efforts

The desperately poor often find themselves with nowhere to turn.

"We didn't know the water was making the children sick." - Nakuru, Kenya

Impact Nations works among some of the poorest, most desperate people in the world.
Although we are committed to helping people reach long-term self-sustainability, we recognize that there are times that immediate intervention is required.

Whether facing starvation, a health crisis, or the devastation of their home, the desperately poor often find themselves with nowhere to turn.

UPDATES

  • Flooding In Eastern Samar

Just 24 hours after we received news of massive flooding in the Philippines, the Impact Nations Family was distributing 6,000 meals to help families survive until the local government reaches them with additional aid.

  • Thousands Have Water

Our friends in the Philippines have just completed a 4 day trip to distribute water filters in Southern Leyte. Eight villages received 129 water filters. This means that 1,290 households are now enjoying safe and clean drinking water.

Your Son Didn't Die

Flooding across India wreaks havock each and every year. This year, some of our partners made a dangerous journey to bring food and clean water to communities that were suffering alone after being deemed "unreachable". From infected legs to reuniting a grieving mother whith her son, you can read the incredible report here.

  • Filters for Leyte

The Impact Nations family just provided another 200 filters to be distributed in the district of Leyte in the Philippines. Leyte was hit very hard by a Typhoon in December and these filters are empowering communities to rebuild without having to fear their drinking water. During our first trip a few weeks ago, one civil planning officer took time to make a video thanking you for your impact.
