
Uganda – At just 17, Alicia’s world was turned upside down. Born in Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo, she once enjoyed the warmth of a close-knit family and the comfort of home. But everything changed when violent conflict erupted. As rebels swept through the region, fear and chaos consumed the community.

Uganda - At just 14 years old, Claire’s life was shattered by abuse that left her pregnant and uncertain of her future. While her friends continued their studies and prepared for adulthood, Claire faced a very different reality—becoming a mother far too soon. Because she was so young, Claire’s pregnancy carried serious risks.

India – Kirta married young, hoping for a peaceful home. But soon after the wedding, her husband’s drinking turned violent, and their house became a place of fear. Her only comfort was her son, who clung to her as she tried to shield him from the anger.

Malawi - In the border towns of Malawi, traffickers often look for vulnerable children to exploit. But thanks to your support, a team of twenty trained men and women works tirelessly to identify and stop them before it’s too late. Angela’s story shows just how critical this work is. She was only thirteen, though looked much younger, when a woman promised her steady work as a housekeeper.

Gaza - When five-year-old Ireen’s parents bought her a small backpack and filled it with notebooks and pencils, they were full of anticipation for her very first day of kindergarten. Like children everywhere, she couldn’t wait to learn, play, and make new friends. But that day never came. War soon reached their neighborhood. With destruction and danger closing in, her parents had no choice but to flee.

India - Before he was even a teenager, Arman carried burdens far heavier than bricks. Working long shifts in a kiln to help feed his family, he believed their suffering was his fault. “If I were a better son,” he thought, “maybe my father wouldn’t drink. Maybe my mother wouldn’t cry.” By 13, Arman knew only the dust and heat of the kiln, never the inside of a classroom.

Malawi - This year, severe weather devastated farmers across Malawi, leaving families and entire communities without enough food to last through the year. The shortage was felt everywhere—even inside the prison system. Hunger was weakening entire communities, leaving people hopeless and afraid.
