This year, we’ve distributed 150 life-changing water filters in the Lukka district of Uganda. These filters are making a profound impact, improving health and increasing both school attendance for children and productivity for adults.
In just two weeks, the percentage of people reporting no water-related health issues surged from 11% to 30%! With fewer days lost to illness, families are able to spend more time at work and school, while also reducing their medical expenses.
