The House of Hope recently celebrated the graduation of seven young women from the Development Center. This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter in their journey towards independence.
Now equipped with marketable and life skills these young women are empowered with the tools they need to live self-sufficient, dignified lives!
We had a wonderful time getting to know Trinity, a life-changing Kingdom Champion, from Uganda who is empowering young people in the slums with skills in graphic design and web development through era92 Elevate program.
Trinity, the founder of era92 and 92hands, shared his inspiring story of escaping life in the slums only to then have a vision to create 100,000 skilled jobs for youth across Africa.
During this special Impact Nations, family meeting, we heard incredible stories of transformation, learned how the Elevate program is changing lives, and connected with the Impact Nations family. It was a truly inspiring and informative event!
This year, we’ve distributed 150 life-changing water filters in Lukka, Uganda. These filters are making a profound impact, improving community health.
In just two weeks, the percentage of people reporting no water-related health issues surged from 11% to 30%! With fewer days lost to illness, families are able to spend more time at work and school, while also reducing their medical expenses.
