“Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble.
Then your light will shine out from the darkness,
and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.”

Isaiah 58:10

The need

During the coronavirus pandemic, the world's most vulnerable people have begun to starve. Unable to leave their homes to find work, day laborers are already out of food and are running out of time. Their greatest need is simply to eat.

Impact Nations' partners in Uganda, Kenya, the Philippines, and India are able to meet the growing need in their communities, but they can't do it without our help.

$30 will change everything!

All over the world, we are finding that we can feed a family of five for three weeks for an average of $30 USD.

LEARNING DURING A PANDEMIC

India has been one of the hardest hit nations in the world during the pandemic. Their private sector unemployment reached 80% at one point. When our partners were finally able to reach the brick factories, they found a community wrestling with starvation, suicide, and depression.

"The whole country was starting to adapt the new normal life but the new life didn’t included these people as it’s difficult for them to maintain social distancing and they have to go from place to place for work. So they were still unaccepted by the people.

We started going to the slums daily and started a feeding program there. One day when we were feeding the people a young girl came to us with a book in her hand and told that she was missing school. She was one of the girl we got in school last year. She told us that she really wanted to study. So we took the book and started teaching her.

We realized that this pandemic has taken away the opportunity from the kids to study. The kids just started adapting the school environment. We started the tuition in the area and started teaching them in small groups."

Back to School

Hope is returning to this precious community. Our partners continue to feed families and tutor the children in the midst of the difficulty.

Now we are faced with another opportunity to change the future for so many children. The government of India is opening schools again on October 19th. The 862 children that the Impact Nations family rescued last year will once again be able to go to school!

In addition, we have already raised enough for another 230 children to begin their education. How many more can we rescue from a life of slavery and send to school?

YOU can send a child to school for only $130 today!

A Swimathon?

We are continually amazed by the creativity and generosity of the Impact Nations family.

"After being inspired by the story of George Muller, an evangelist and director of the Ashley Down orphanage in the early 1800s, Adriana has a heart to help others in need.

She is planning on doing a Swimathon on July 31 to raise money for an Impact Nations ministry that works that works in many extremely poor areas around Nakuru, Kenya including a refugee village and people living in the garbage dump.

Before the pandemic hit, Pastor Mike worked to provide food, get many of the school age children in school and set up a preschool for children living in the garbage dump and has literally been keeping the people in the refugee village who have fled tribal violence alive.

A Truly Great Impact

"Dear Pastora Sue and Impact Nations Partners,

Grace and peace from the Father and the love of our Lord Jesus Christ be unto you!

We have just done our food relief distribution last July 09, Thursday. I decided to go the farthest town where the Local Government didn’t declare it as one of the affected areas of the typhoon Ambo. We have gone through the boarders of Eastern Samar travelled 3 ½ hours going there and another 3 ½ hours going home. A very tiring trip but heart fulfilling reaching one of the small town of Northern Samar which is the Municipality of Gamay where I found so many families are still struggling for hunger and for uncomfortable shelter. People told me that they don’t receive relief because there town was not counted as affected by typhon Ambo but they were not exempted of the devastation by the typhon Ambo.

“Thank you God for Impact Nations”, one of their expressions upon receiving the food pack for a week. We fed 80 families with a 5 kilos of Premium rice, ½ dozen noodles, ½ dozen Milk, and 5 pcs. Sardines. They want to express their gratitude to the supporters and partners of Impact Nations.

Truly you had brought great impact to lives showing them the love of God in action! I can’t really figure out the joy in my heart reaching those families and saving lives !

Again, thank you Impact Nations Australia for the opportunity and the privilege you had given me to be a part of this divine assignment. Whoever you are and where ever we are all of us together making a difference!

I pray for all the Impact Nations partners and supporters that the good Lord will continually bless you more and more!

Let me quote to you a word from the scriptures which says, “He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.”(2 Cor. 9:10).

God bless you all!"

Great News!

Trinity, one of our partners in Uganda has just sent us this amazing report and video. This is just part of the 423,116 meals that have been provided by the Impact Nations family during this crisis.

"The Crazy Man from India"

Richard has had some thrilling conversations as he distributes food packages:

Godfrey: Do you remember the gosple of the other white man?

Richard: Which man?

Godfrey: The white man from India...
Once i thought the man was running crazy because he sent us all out of the church to go preach to people in the streets and in their homes, i had never seen a practical conference like that. The topic was about "Go" and making desciples.
But He taught us about house churches and in my heart i thought i understood but i have understood more during covid19 because house churches were formed automatically and we remembered the gospel we were taught about house churches, every home is now a house church and as am speaking we have over 400 house churches!

"A Widow's Sermon"

Angelika (a refugee from Rwanda) was so happy for the food, this old lady is really like an Angel, while everyone one's heart was on food, Angelika asked for the bible and started teaching the people around. Her teaching was from Isaiah 26:20.
20 Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by.
After pastor John read the verse, we responded that "surely we are in our houses as in staying at home."
She told us that "staying at home is very good during this period! but the bible i talking about our church, we are the church, while the church buildings are closed, we should shut our selves in the inside church, and continue with our inside church in our hearts." (not even sure whether i translated her well).

"Chased Away By Murder"

"Crodina was happily married and lived about 1km away from kalonga Center. Her husband died 6 years ago living her with 4 children; Sylvia, frank, prossy and flavia.

After the death of her husband, the family members of the husband sent Crodina away from the land which the husband owned that they worked on daily to earn a living.

Crodina moved with her family to a single rental room in Kalonga center running away from people who threatened to murder her from the husband's land and destroyed and took for free her food in the garden. Crodina never got justice, trying to push on the case only brought more problems and fear.

The eldest daughter, Sylvia, stopped in senior two. She tried her best to look for something to do but in vain, they don't have land to cultivate... She ended up into early marriage, gave birth, husband disappeared and she came back home.

Frank and Prossy also stopped in senior two in 2018 so they haven't been in school in 2019 and 2020.

Frank helps the builders by working as a porter and they pay him something to take home. Sylvia moves houses to house to plait hair to earn a living while prossy stays at home to take care of the mother.

All their work has not been productive and during this season of Covid19 almost no one has money to spend on hair or building.

They were happy to receive the package. They were so emotional. The mother was extremely thankful and in tears of joy."
