May God not shorten His hand but bless you abundantly. The school farm had no specific person other than me to oversee its activities but as we talk, Brother Kimbowa Collins has been identified to do the job
Challenges.
Previous planting season was unpredictable for it just switched on from one season to another without a dry season just like in 2009.so the harvest won’t be as was expected but can still be enough for the children’s food
My budget to the Impact Nations have been so specific that in case I forget something e.g. Transport, or anything else, am left in struggle of looking for its money for I fear to request for more money of same project. I pray that you allow me put miscellaneous always in my budget.
I have 12 teachers and one cook but since i had thought of increasing their salaries due to increment of classes, it isn’t possible to depend entirely on farm output and the small tuition so i humbly request my brothers and sisters out there to intervene at this initial stage as the farm output stabilizes and help me with at least 100000 per month per teacher then the school will add on the 50000 even since the inflation came in ,everyone in Uganda is complaining from all corners of the nation for salary increment. We can’t forget that we are working for Excellency in our school project .it may not be easy to fund/donate tuition for every pupil but at least teachers are fewer.Their good payments means good services rendered and manageable.
Government is paying its teachers 250000 and promised to increase it in the next financial year. Teachers houses is a challenge but when Impact Nations help us with salaries, the school will try its best to construct at least 2 teacher's houses per term to minimize expenditures on House rent. This will also smothen our evening classes when all teachers are near by the school at all times. They will all be enjoying electricity all the time,.
Special thanks to all the impact nations family for whatever you have done for the transformation of Bulera as a school and a community at large.May God bless you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy new year to you all as i wait for you in May 2012
