Under A Mango Tree...

It is very shocking to see the devastation here in Haiti... yet what is surprising me is the resilience of the people. They have set up little shops lining many streets selling what few things they have left. What is also surprising to me is the open heaven we are experiencing here - the other night at the evening meeting, everyone I prayed for was instantly healed. This included a girl who was deaf in one ear - I was still trying to clarify through a translator that she could hear and she was already directing me to her knees which also needed healing! Yesterday the clinic intake seemed like an ER briefly as we had a few people needing treatment immediately. One was a month and a half old baby who was having siezures. We treated the baby and referred the mother to a hospital. All this under a mango tree :) Looks like we will be praying for people this afternoon in a tent city, will bring back the good reports!
