Impact Nations

I was really hesitant to join this year's journey since I was being led to focused only on my one thing.
But when I asked Father GOD if He wants me to join, He gave me a big YES... and so my adventure began...

Porac, Pampanga JOC Medical Clinic. It was fairly ordinary. We saw many patients. Everything went on running smoothly until I noticed this one lady. She is dirty and if i may say she "looks" smelly. I dont want her and I was hoping she would go to Danielle's table or Rebekah's table but no, she went to mine...

I found out she has hyperpigmentation of the skin all over her chest and is flat footed. I also noticed SHE HAD DIRTY FEET. The Lord was telling me to clean her dirty feet. I hesitated and double checked; "Are you sure, Lord?" and I got a yes... and so I did! I gloved my hands and scrubbed her feet. It was really very dirty. And then my Beloved spoke... JED this is My feet. Wash it well. I was caught unaware by His Words and so I did. I was beholding the feet of my Beloved. My proud heart melted and wanted to kiss the feet instead. The lady was crying profusely because she told me, this was only the first time somebody did that to her. All I can answer her was that JESUS loves her so much. The rest of the clinic went through.

When I was resting in the evening, My Lord told me to read Matthew 25:40, "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

WOW!!! I realized I have finally touched my Beloved! Finally, I have touched my Beloved! I have touched my Beloved! Wow!!!

Was it all worth it?
Was all the stress, the stretch, the toil worth it? Most definitely.

Many times, during missions, my heart is getting used to the many healings and all these serving people. I love it. But now my LORD has opened my eyes.
Now, I get to see JESUS in the afflicted.
Now, I get to see my JESUS amongst the poor.
Now, I get to see my JESUS amongst the sick and the downcast.

And now, I have finally touched my Beloved.
You want to serve Him? He is telling us, whatever you do to the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.
You want to touch Him? Open your eyes to the many dirty feet that are coming your way. He is there. He is there. He is there!
