Impact Nations

Eric Peoples and I finished three great days in this remarkable country. After some scouting and planning meetings with Collins and Derek (the leaders of a network of 27 churches, all established in the past 6 years), we gathered for two days with 29 pastors from around the nation. On only 24 hours notice, they came by bus from all over rural Bangladesh.

They were like sponges, soaking up the teaching on the Kingdom of God, how to release young leaders, healing and operating from a motivation of compassion (like Jesus did). Of course, I taught them the simple healing model, then had them pray for one another. Twenty of twenty-nine needed healing. As their fellow pastors prayed for them in, what to them was a new and simple way, EVERY ONE was healed. They are now very excited to take this back to their young churches. Teaching pastors like this is such a privilege––and the best way to multiply ministry. They represent over 3,600 believers from all over rural Bangladesh.

The trip ended with a bit of an adventure. When Eric and I got to the airport this morning to fly to Delhi, then (for me) on to KL and Sydney, I was informed that my India visa was only valid for a single entry––and I had already entered and left India. The next few hours were an adventure as I tried to find an airline that flew to Sydney, but not through India. Having found one, I then discovered that I could only buy a ticket at a travel agency. That was fine, but today there is a protest on the streets which has turned them into a parking lot. A wonderful man at the hotel got to work phoning travel agencies, airlines etc. in search of  a place that I could get to in time to reach the airport by noon. Here I am, so I guess I made it! It has been quite an interesting few hours in the traffic.

I am enjoying reading the first India reports coming in from the JOC team. We saw more healings every day. The anointing simply increased and increased, the longer we ministered in Vizag and the outlying villages. I am missing this terrific team already.

Well, on to the next country.

The Kingdom of God is really quite an adventure.
