The Latest from India

I just got off the phone with Vince in India. As you know, we had a powerful Journey of Compassion there a couple of weeks ago. We were talking about some of the follow-up projects that are coming out of the Journey. When I called, VInce was meeting with another of his key leaders, Vinay. Vinay was hugely impacted by the Journey; before I left, Vinay said to me: "Pastor Steve, when you come back next year you will not even recognize this ministry!" Well, I just found out that since we left, he has started new house church groups in 4 different villages, each made up of young men who gave their lives to Christ during the Journey. As well, the Journey opened the doors with the various village chiefs, giving great favor to Vinay and to Friends Meet ministry. He is organizing a 4 village cricket tournament where they will connect with even more young people. 

It is such a privilege working with Vince and his team; they are so committed to seeing God's Kingdom advance in India.
