the God of impossibilities!!!!!

"Wow God, you are amazing!"

This is what I have been repeating over and over again for the past 2 weeks. I was not sure if I was going to come on the trip to the Philippines but I am so glad I did. The journey and the 6 clinics looked more than impossible but when I booked my flight I had peace.

Everytime something looked impossible I knew God would do something amazing to blow our minds. There have been countless times that God has astounded us yet its hard to get them all down in one post.

The first evangelism night after our first clinic, it was crowded with children- we sponatneously began dancing with them, which was exhausting but so much fun. Steve and Cha came to me and told me Aj was going to talk tonight (great warning guys:)). AJ is my puppet- and i knew she had no idea what she was going to say.

However, AJ knows about being ready in season and out, so she got out of her bag and i grabbed a mic for her. Cha and AJ spoke about a testimony that I had seen 2 years ago about a young deaf boy in Payatas (rubbish dump community in Manila) God had opened his ears and AJ shared about how God loved to do amazing things in childrens lives.

A few minutes later a young deaf girl was brought to me- ahhh, the pressure! This girl was completley deaf and Steve asked me to pray for her. "Ok God, this is impossible, and thats your category." We prayed and her cousin called out from behind her, she suddenly turned around with delight as she responded for the first time to her cousins voice. The two children kept calling out to each other and were so excited.

I praise you God for your delight in children- when the world forgets them, you remember them.

God, you hear our cry and you respond, not only answering our call but going way beyond our expectations.

God you are good!!!
