Some Testimonies from Philippines JOC Team Members

Here are some testimonies from the first week of our Journey of Compassion. These are just a few highlights--there have been too many to count.

Gowry and Marie - in prison - praying for a man with an injury in his left eye and it was discolored and blind for years - prayed once and he couldn’t see but prayed 2nd
time and eyes a bit blurry, a 3rd prayer -he could see a little clearer and 4th prayer he could see better.

Also for a man who could not bend due to back injury – they laid hands and he felt heat going into his back, from top to bottom. He then bent forward/backward and was
So happy that he had no more pain – he could not bend like this before.

A 3rd person had an injury in his left elbow and he couldn’t lift his left shoulder – after prayer he could lift and bend it totally and circle it around – no pain.

A lady in the hospital was recovering from attempted suicide – depression, she allowed them to pray for her – she accepted the Lord into her heart – her countenance totally changed – awesome!


Diane – elderly man with cane had cataracts for years – prayed and was healed completely.
Also, a little 5 year old boy who had meningitis had weakness in his left leg and couldn’t lift his arm – after prayer he was able to use his arm properly
Also a baby girl had high fever completely left her immediately.

Michael - -prayed for 50 yr old man with high blood pressure 240 / 90 – we prayed for him that the BP be normal at 120 /80 and he then insisted that he be tested again (after prayer) for BP. So the medical person did the check and the reading was 120/80 – God answered prayer specifically. He went into the village witnessing to everyone, as for the last 10 years his BP has not been below 240! Instantly God lowered his pressure with prayer. He was overjoyed and rejoiced with everyone! Michael was blown away totally (as well as the rest of us here!)
