Impact Nations

Hello everyone,

I am very sorry for being so absent from the network. This last two to three weeks were very difficult for us down here. My internet connection got disconnected, both of my computers had problems, we had to take them to a shop to be fixed, but in the midst of all that the Lord has been faithful. He has showed us His mercy, love, grace, ...

Yesterday, December the 5th was the 518th anniversary of the discovery of Haiti and we had a great service at the church. First of all we had a conference for the people from the 2nd to the 4th where we had as guest speaker a History teacher who did a tremendous job explaining the whole history of Haiti to the people, and they were very blessed. So yesterday morning, we had a special service titled " at the rediscovery of Haiti" . And for that service, all the members put so many things together to show to the people what Haiti used to be. We had, on a table, a representation of all of our fruits, vergetables, crops and also of all our typical food. Praise and Worship was awesome, we worshiped God with our typical music style and the Spirit of the Lord was present and the people worshiped Him Him in owe. After praising Him with all our strengh.we had everyone take something from the table in other to cry out to the Lord to restore the land of Haiti so that we can strat growing these crops abundantly again. Haiti used to be the 2nd exportator of cafe to the whole world, but now all this is just in our mmemory. So we went to the Lord according to II Chronicles 7:14 to cry out lourd to Him, asking Him to forgive the sins of our ancestors and parents and to restore the Land of Haiti. It was awesome to see how these young people devoted themselves in prayer for the sake of their country, for the sake of their futur, it makes me weep to see that. God has really started a revival in their hearts and I know that, one day, the nation of Haiti will come to worship the Soverain God. After the srevice, we served some food to the people who came to the service so that they can taste our typical food that most of them don't even know about. Some of them testified that it was their first time tasting them. It also brought great remembrance to the old people, they were very happy.

At night, the place was packed and more han 50 people had to stand. People came from everywere to see the special presentation that we prepared. It was great. The youth from the church were awsome in the presentation and it was a great joy and pleasure to the people to see how Haiti used to be and how people used to dress in the past. We had a representation of all the defferent periodes of dreeing in Haiti and some young people were shocked to see how far we are now from our grand parents. it was mervellous.

After all that we had Cheryl Ward from Australia who brought an accurate word of Prophecy to the Church and the nation of Haiti. It was great.

After we closed the srevice, praise broke in the church and the people couldn't even go home praising, singing the Lord Almighty openly. All praise be to God.

Thank you for all of your prayers and cares.

PS: I will try to upload some pictures so that you can see how it was.

Reginald thank you so much for your descriptive story. It sounds like you had a wonderful celebration. I'm thankful that it worked out for Cheryl to come. I'll try to connect with you this week to talk about our trip in March.

Hi Reginald,
Good to hear from you! Haiti has been very much on our hearts and in our prayers with the problems with cholera and the recent elections.
