Impact Nations

I am so blessed to be a member of Impact Nations! I have recently returned from Haiti and God has changed my life forever! Here is the short version…ha-ha! Praise God!

In December I felt led to journey to Haiti even though our ImpactNations JOC had been moved to 2011. The journey that even got me to Haiti amid news of growing civil unrest there and the increasing Cholera epidemic, was God-directed. My passion and heart to see the School project funded (along with others on ImpactNations - bless you all) was a project that my students and staff and local community got behind with so much enthusiasm! Pastor Reginald Celestin in Haiti and I and my husband, John, sought the Lord and it became clear that the timing and anointing was NOW to go on my own.

I journeyed to the other side of the world and God touched my heart, healed me of asthma, broke my heart in love for my Haitian 'family' and changed me forever! I met a people - led by Pastor Reginald - whose one humble desire is to bless and minister to THE LORD - day and night. This is their focus. All other miracles, signs and wonders, blessings and ministry flow from this. In a country torn apart by poverty, destruction, voodoo and a seemingly inept political leadership, God is moving so mightily - and His waves of compassion, power and healing are increasing daily! This is not just revival - this is HABITATION! And it is just simply how they live.

It was a life-changing privilege to journey into the mountains behind Carrefour to visit the little school of Bouvier with Pastor Reginald and his team!!! God speaks to your heart there, on His "MOUNTAINS OF REVELATION". We trekked 8 hrs- traversing 3 mountains, crossing 3 rivers. (The guide & donkey made it in 4 hrs -with all the gear-Haha!) We journeyed breathtaking beauty -including mountains split-to-white by the earthquake! The divine healings and miracles God is bringing in His mercy on that mountain and in Carrefour thru Pastor Reginald and his team is just awe-inspiring. I have been an asthmatic all my life. I have been on medication morning and night for most of my adult life (nearly 50 yrs) and I was just ONE of those that came back healed! PRAISE GOD! On the last night up there, God showed me a vision of me throwing my medication down the pit toilet! Holy laughter overcame me in our intercession-time and how I laughed! The next morning, I threw it out! And I trekked the 8 hours back no problems! I have never felt better and I have been medication-free for weeks now.  PRAISE GOD! At the tiny school & community of Bouvier, God blessed us more than we blessed the children, school & people... a truly life-changing experience. The children are so happy and are much SAFER now they do not have to walk hours further to Port-au-Prince to go to school. The seating will continue to be built in the near future and taken up by donkeys with the team. To see the kids faces when we were there, and to share with them food and gifts... God is SO good. I will be back! The picture here shows the tiny Bouvier school ... that nearly 90 enthusiastic students attend! Some students even walk over 3 hours to and from their school!

On a previous journey that Pastor Reginald led to Bouvier, a young woman had a heart attack and died. 6 hours into the trek - at the third river - she collapsed and her heart stopped. There was nothing to do but pray!! And the team prayed for over three hours - in the rain. They revived her three times but she kept slipping away. Finally, Peter (I call him Peter the Rock!), put her body on his back and carried her up the remaining mountain - the steepest section - to Bouvier. It usually takes about an hour. It took him over 3... and still they prayed. When they got to Bouvier God raised her from the dead!!!! When they left Bouvier to return home a few days later.... she was one of the first back! Totally healed! Totally restored!! Praise God!!!

Pastor Reginald and his precious wife Johanne and their beautiful, humble, youthful ministry teams have so many more healing and ministry testimonies like this!!! God is so precious and faithful. And it has only just begun.................

And today is Pastor Reginald's birthday!!!! 1st January!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, REGGIE from your AUSTRALIAN family,  and from us all in your IMPACT NATIONS family! We love you. 2011 will be mighty year of great REVELATION and BREAKTHROUGH for you and many others like you, across the world, who minister to the Lord in humility, love and devotion!

Blessings to all who read this! Love in Jesus' precious name!!!

GOD IS GOOD -  ALL OF THE TIME!!! (a daily saying in Haiti!)

Thank you so much, Cheryl for your efforts in raising funds, for your willingness to go by yourself to a people you had never met, for climbing a mountain for 8 hours, for your faith to be healed, for your obedience to God, and much more. I can hardly wait to get back to Haiti in March. Because of being with them through the earthquake they will always have a special place in my heart. I sure hope that Steve and I can connect with you when we're in Australia in February. Blessings of the New Year to you and your family!
