IMPACT'S Impact on us

Thank you so much Pas.Steve and Christina mam. We have no words to
express our love and gratitude. You have impacted our lives and
challenged us. Love you both.

When we've announced to our team that Pas.Steve and Christina mam are
coming to Vizag to spend time with us, they are all so excited. Few of
us met them in Chilakallu but others just heard about them.

On Saturday evening, many gathered at airport with garlands and
broad smiles. As we all are waiting so anxiously, we saw the display
that the flight is one hour late. So, everyone started playing with Ria
but we found that their eyes were fixed on the display board. The time has
finally come, few stood with the big banner, FRIENDS' MEET WELCOMES, IMPACT NATIONS, PASTOR. STEVE AND CHRISTINA(
WE HAD THEIR PICTURES ON IT). Myself, Nancy and Ria went to welcome
them and many followed with garlands. Oh, so exciting and happy moments for all
of us.

As we went home, there are still more boys and girls gathered with more
garlands and flowers. Pas.Steve and Christina mam greeted them all and
after a word of prayer, all left. Our journey began with smiles,
flowers and prayers...

On Sunday morning, we found that Pas.Steve is not well, he took rest at home. Christina mam came to the Church and preached on "God's peace in the midst of storms'
The same message she preached in Haiti, two days before the earth
quake. She also shared her experience in the earth quake. We were all
so shocked but what surprised us more is, she said she found out after
2 days of earth quake that she was not at all afraid during and after
the earth quake!!

Oh, what a simple and strong trust she had in God in that horrifying situation!!.
She also shared with us about a brave hero from New Jersey, Adam
LiVecchi, how he was with her and his word to Pas.Steve about
Christina, how he was shouting in the dark for Christina and many
other things. Adam, We salute you dear friend.

Sunday evening was the biggest evening of all, Friends' Meet
City Church dedication. The best of all is, the presence of Pas.Steve
and Christina mam in that breath taking moments. Thank you Impact
family for being with us in our Church Construction. Every one in our
team, Church sacrificially, gave, prayed and worked this to happen. A
dream of all of us came alive. We had a great celebration and Pas.Steve
spoke prophetically from Isaiah 54: 1-4, the main theme is GOD'S ENLARGEMENT. At the end, he prayed for the sick and many got healed instantly.We were all so blessed. Thank you Pas.Steve.

Monday morning, Christina stayed at home, Pas. Steve spoke to
leaders in F.M on Foundations of Gospel, God's kingdom, Leadership,
Fruit of the Spirit and on Sabbath and answered many questions posed by
our team. He ate nothing that day as he was ill, but spoke so strong
truths with great strength. In the evening, he attended to our Men's Prayer cell, the topic of the week - How can an young man be pure
in his ways? Oh, Pas.Steve Shook all the doubts of our young men and
laid strong foundations for their youth.

On Tuesday, we've traveled to one of our Village Churches in
Lakkidam which is 90 minutes journey from Vizag and had a small meeting
with the Church believers. Nearly a hundred have gathered
there.Pas.Steve taught them the 5 steps of healing and healed many sick
in
the Church. Also led the believers to follow the 5 steps and pray for
one another. Miracles happened, many were healed. Above all they are so
thrilled at God's power that was given to them.

After lunch, we went to another village Church in Budathanapalli. Then in the evening
we had a small crusade in another nearby village, Buradapadu.Nearly a
hundred villagers gathered around and many heard form their houses and
roof tops. Pas. Steve spoke about the power of God and prayed for the
sick. Many were healed again. Invited the Church believers to pray for
the sick. Believe me, blurry eyes opened, many headaches, back pains
disappeared, a paralyzed woman felt strength coming back to her.

Much
more is to be done in these villages, many are left unprayed. Impact is
having Journey in Vizag in January 2011 from 16th 28th. Please come, we
are going to visit all these villages, treat the sick in the medical
clinics, walk in the villages, heal the sick, preach good news. We are
waiting to see you here.

Wednesday morning, we went to check the hotels for the JOC, found a
very good hotel in the City for a very good price. Sure you all will
love your stay here in Vizag. Christina paid advance to the hotel and
booked more rooms for more people.

Wednesday evening we had a WORSHIP CONCERT, SOLID ROCK 2
in one of the busy streets in Vizag. More than 400 attended! Pas. Steve
preached and took accoustic guitar and led worship, to a deep intimacy
with God.
It was Rocking experience. 1st time to see Pas. Steve with the Guitar.
oh what a blessed evening it was!!

That day, Feb 10th happened to be my wife's Birthday, so Pas. Steve and
Christina took us out for dinner. Had Tandoori Chicken, Butter chicken,
Butter Naan, Chicken Biryani and Chicken fried rice. We had a great
dinner with them. My wife was so moved. She had no father, he passed
away when she was hardly 4 years old. She missed the luxury of having
daddy. Thank you Pas. Steve and Christina for your love and concern. My
wife is talking about your party everyday. She had greatest birthday
ever

On Thursday, we had, Feeding the Poor - Beggars. The
beggars are the home less people, sleeping on the path ways and
streets, some times end up starving for days, eats from the garbage.
Many do not have or know their families, many are mentally challenged,
they are not even recorded in the Government records. So pathetic are
their lives. Every time Nancy with the help of one or two, used to
cook for 150 - 200 at home. But this time, we invited more people from
our team to cook the meals so that we can have some time with Pas.
Steve and Christina. We did have a great time. We prepared nutritious
rice mixed with peanuts and other pulses plus one egg. Christina helped
us packing the food, there were 168 packets. We all went to distribute
them and saw how grateful they are to us on receiving the food. That is
the only nutritious meal they will have in days. We feeding the poor
only once in a month due to our limited finances, but want to do more.


Thursday night we had COUPLES ALL NIGHT where 11 couples
have attended. Pas. Steve and Christina spoke to them about Marriage
Relationships, Sabbath and so on and answered many questions of our
couples. Had night time together.

Friday, was the departure time. No one is ready to accept it.
Not even us. We still feel them around here. Many gathered again to
bid them farewell but this time with heavy hearts. We miss you both.
Thank you for coming here. Impact's impact was so great on our lives,
that will stay forever. Love you both.
