PRECIOUS NATIONS IMPACTORS,

It is for me a real pleasure and a great joy to share with you what the Lord is doing right now in our baby church in Carrefour, Haiti. After the earthquake, I went to the Dominican Republic to bring a container full with food supplies, Water and shelter to the neediest. On February I went back there to take my one year old daughter to the Hospital, and while I was there my wife came back to Haiti, and on February 28th 2010, she gave birth to a local church that God has given us the vision for, 7 years ago. The name of the Church is: "Light for Living Christian Fellowship". Our vision has always been to build a Community (Fellowship), where the body of Christ will experience unconditional love, acceptance and support. A community dedicated to helping transform the nation of Haiti through education, building solid families and marriages, and teaching life skills. A Community dedicated to teaching the uncompromising word of God and to training up tomorrows leaders.

Since we began that Church, God has been doing tremendous things and works in our midst. We have seen the love of Christ manifested in the lives and behaviors of the people. After about 7 months, we have seen many people come to Christ, we have water baptized 16 people and two weeks ago we welcomed 26 official members. We are meeting in our ministry (Light for Living International Ministries) parking and the place is almost too small. We meet regularly with about 100 people weekly. And it is amazing. Every week God is doing something new and fresh and more people are coming without invitation. They are just passing by, and they step in and get refresh by the Word of God.

They are literally experiencing revival in their lives. They are giving freely with all their heart. They have provided to the need of their church. They purchased chairs, build what needs to be built,… and take care of the needy. And I can quote II Corinthians 8:1-5 as it was our own word:

“ Now, brethren, we wish to make known to you the grace of God which has been given in the churches of Macedonia (our baby Church in Carrefour), that in a great ordeal of affliction their abundance of joy and their deep poverty overflowed in the wealth of their liberality. For I testify that according to their ability, and beyond their ability, they gave of their own accord, begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints, and this, not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.”

Right now we are putting together a school project in a very remote village of Carrefour called “BOUVIER”. We will be taking a group of 40 people from our Church there from September 24th to 26th. We will walk about 8 hours to get there. Crossing 3 rivers and claiming very high mountains to get there. We will do medical clinic,
evangelism, showing movies and pray for the sick.

They don't have anything yet. We are trying to put together funds to build 20 benches, buy school supplies, books and build a tent for them. We already have about 80 kids sign up for this school. Life is very hard in Bouvier. They have no clean or portable water. They have to walk down a very dangerous hill to get water. They
live just by agriculture, but don’t have the proper tools to do it right. They don’t have school and babies are dying with malnutrition. We cannot remain silent to the cry of their soul. And the time to act is now.

Very soon we will post the final budget for this project. And know that with your help and support more than 80 Haitian kids will have access to education. Think of that: “80 kids” with a small effort from us will know the joy of going to school, and some for the first time.

If it is not YOU: WHO?

If is not NOW: WHEN?

If it is not in HAITI: WHERE?

May the Lord God Almighty bless you indeed and enlarge your territory!
