I just got back from an intense, but blessed time in Haiti. As I'm writing this on my son Joe's computer I'm starting to cry from all I've seen, and yet all that God is doing. I just cant thank you enough how much your prayers have meant, Believe me every prayer comes with an answer although at the time it may seem like an insignifant seed; but as you know seeds become fruit. I'm afraid I've been hooked by the Lord into this ministry. The opportunity to rescue lives is so great, and our time is passing by so quickly that to not be there seems like a day wasted. The cool thing is that Yeshua (Hebrew for Jesus) was there even before we arrived. There were so many highlights but the ones that come to mind was when I was weighing sick, feverish infants and babies and praying our Father's blessing on them at the same time. How a screaming baby would calm down in my arms as I just held it for those few precious moments of prayer. and seeing them gaze into my eyes before weighing them is a memory etched into the deepest part of my soul.
I could go on and on about how I was impacted by this trip - not only the Haitian people but also the coolest team members to work with. A book could be written about each one of them. They are now part of my family. Its called Impact Nations but it is us who seem to be impacted even more. God just loved on us all through this time. I think we tapped into the mother lode of what He is about; caring for the poor and bringing His justice and redemption.
