Fresh wounds

Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for all your help in feeding our beggar friends. Can't really explain their joy in seeing the food, rice, curry, bananas, butter milk and boiled egg in their hands. Even in the cyclonic rains, we gave them the food on behalf of you. They just ate the food in the rains, beside the flowing drainages and dusty roads. Every single one of them are extremely happy with tears in their eyes. Thanks for supporting Isaiah 58 Fast and making all this happen.

Last week one particular scene shook all of us. We are giving away the food as usual sharing the Gospel and love, we came to one particular young man. He was sleeping on the foot path just beside a big drainage. We went near him, he didn't have proper clothes and was crying in pain. His right leg was badly wounded, tied it up in plastic bags, it is still red and fresh.

We tried to talk to him but he was unable to understand our language. Gave him the food, he was so thankful for it. It started drizzling by then and we all rushed off from that place to give away the food to others. We came back to office after distributing the food but none of us could forget that crying young man and his wounded leg.

Next day, we went in search of him, but couln't find him. The next day there was heavy rain. On Friday, we found him, but he was in such a bad pain, he didn't even talk to us. As we've told you earlier, no hospital either Government or private will admit beggars and treat them. They are not even officially recorded and identified by the Government. Every time we have friends who will help us with great influence. We tried to contact our friends who are Doctors and nurses and by that time we went again, he was not there. He still was not found. Don't know where he went or what happened to him.
