Impact Nations

On November third I embarked on another journey with impact nations. This is only my second journey. We came to Burundi where I have met god in a very different way then I did on my first journey.

God no longer needed to prove how real and amazing he was to me. So my entry won’t be about any incredible healings that I saw (though I saw some amazing ones) but rather on the amazing salvations I was able to
witnesses!

God has been teaching me a lot about who I’m and how I don’t need to be a nurse or a doctor or a dentist to change lives, and to bring life.

I want to share a practical story first. On our second day of clinics I worked with the dentist. I was able to witnesses many teeth being pulled and also pray for people. The coolest moment for me in all of this was
when I was able to assist him with one of the patients (get all the gear ready,
wear a mask and gloves, etc) we pulled this old woman’s tooth out and no sooner
then it popped out of her mouth was she out of the chair dancing around the
room and rejoicing in the relief good had brought through the pulling of her
tooth!

I have struggled on the mission to find my place but learned that where god had me on this trip was to work in crowd control. This was hard for me at times because I’m not always the best at showing compassion well
being stern. But when Heather pointed out that we were here to show Christ to
the people things changed for me. I began to try to show compassion and I saw
some amazing salvations from it.

One such salvation was when we were in a hospital I asked a woman if she would like to receive Christ, she said yes and I prayed with her as we prayed her friend began to cry. So I laid hands on her and prayed in
tongues (my translator was leading the woman to Christ beside me so I couldn’t
talk to the crying woman). She began to cry more and griped my hand tightly. After
we prayed she told me she had been waiting for her friend to be saved and we
all were able to share in celebrating our new sister in Christ! Kai and I also
brought a man to Christ and as we were praying for him god began to give me a
prophetic word for him and as I shared it he also began to cry!

We have seen so many healed and saved. And at times I forgot to see the amazing salvations because I get caught up in the healings but really I have learned that well healings are great they don’t always remain,
but salvation, salvation is everlasting!

Amen?
