Being stretched

Here I am on my sixth Journey of Compassion and each time God finds a new and exciting way for me to experience more of Him and to show that just by making myself available He can use me mightily. On the fifth medical clinic day we had seen over 310 patients and it was time to close intake for the full clinic process, however we don't stop there! We give out deworming tablets, vitamins and other medications to anyone else who is still waiting.

These 200 people were waiting to be triaged and so Steve Stewart persuaded me that this would be a great time to speak to them and offer them a chance to receive Jesus. So I stood up, shared some of my own testimony about how God has transformed my life and given me new desires which align with His. The Holy Spirit helped me to speak from my heart and as the pastor reached the time to pray each person in that place spoke it out. 80 people raised their hands to publicly declare that they accepted Jesus for the first time and the local pastor was there to connect with each one of them. Praise God.
