A Number of Testimonies from One of Our Nurses

Besides treating many hundreds of people medically, each of our team has opportunity to pray for them. In fact today at the clinic (where we treated over 550 people!), our team prayed for those lined up waiting to get into the clinic. So many were instantly healed, that about a quarter of them left without even wanting to see a doctor or nurse. Here is one of our nurse's testimony:

Danielle – in Butuan – at the outdoor evening (in park) was asked to pray for Sheila who was a worker with the street children.. I could tell that she was shy about telling me about what was happening. She told me that she had an illegal abortion and now had ovarian cysts and as I prayed for her she was in position of bowing down or scrunched up (as if shy/embarrassed) . As we prayed her face changed – she said she felt better and that her damaged spirit had been lifted!! God showed her that he loved her with a right kind of love.

Also, the 3rd clinic in Butuan – an elderly lady came to my assessment table – she had a cough for over a year – was coughing up blood and I knew it was TB (tuberculosis)
I felt despair for this woman and was about to write a prescription for antibiotics and told her if this drug didn’t clear things up she had to go for a chest x-ray. When she heard the word chest x-ray she said ‘oh I’ve had one of those and they said that I have TB’. She did the treatment for 1 month but couldn’t finish taking the meds as she couldn’t afford it. So now I felt even more heavy hearted – she likely had resistance
to the treatment. I couldn’t do anything else but pray. We prayed and although I couldn’t ‘see’ that the TB was gone, I asked her to take a deep breath inward – amazingly it felt better! We prayed 3 times and she was breathing normally by the end. I was about to also write her prescription for blood pressure meds and I was convicted that if she couldn’t afford TB treatment for 6 months, then she definitely couldn’t afford a lifetime of BP meds! So I put my pen down and prayed again. Her BP went from 160/95 to 130/90 – just right!! She left with only vitamins and new hope shone on her face!!

Here in Manila, I prayed for a woman with far sightedness. She said she saw double and could barely read the small print on my name tag. We prayed one time and God fixed her eyes. She could read my name tag clearly and kept looking around with her new vision!

Also, a little girl was prayed for after her mother was prayed for/healed. Apparently the girl had sore and blocked ears. We prayed and it didn’t appear that she changed much immediately afterwards. However after 10 seconds she started looking around and rubbing her ears and she said her ears were better!
