Good News from Uganda!

One of the most enlightening moments for me on this trip has actually been becoming sick myself. The medicines I needed were readily available to me while the people of Uganda often have difficulty getting them. The clean water, electricity and other comforts I have so readily taken for granted are often lacking here. It's really humbling to realize how much I have.In the midst of it all, God has moved with power. Many people have come to know Jesus and experienced the power of God-. One older…See More

God Continues to Move

After the healing...I saw a man standing under a tree and felt we should pray for him; he agreed and God showed me he wanted him to preach the gospel. He asked, "How do you know this?" I told him Jesus showed me. He received prayer, the power of God fell on him and he fell on top of me! As the crowd yelled and screamed in surprise, people ran out of the line for the line for the medical clinic to see what was happening. He and the younger men with him were known as bad characters in the… Continue

Children are healed in Chinandegra

Posted on July 31, 2009 at 7:52am 0 Comments

God is moving in power on the kids of Chinandega! After hearing the story of Lazarus a mother brought her baby to receive prayer. He had a hernia about the size of a golf ball protruding from his abdomen. Kelly and I watched it disappear before our eyes as we prayed. The mother thanked God in amazement. Other children were healed of toothaches and various conditions as we taught them to pray alongside us. Seven children received Jesus at that time and even more later.

Impact Nation`s users, we are preparing the next journal to Nicaragua in August.

We going to visit The Jail and we`ll do “The First Christian Festival”...Will be great, they`ve never had something like that. And we`ll have more…you could visit every feeding center, where we have 100 to 500 children depending of the place… you will be able to cook for them and play with they. We will do medical brigade to attend sick and poor people, and Evangelist Crusade at night. You`ll know our beach and you be able enjoy playing and eating seafood. And we showing folkloric stores so you can buy souvenirs of you trip to our country. Hurry up! Don`t think more about that…you will not regret.

Hi Lisa,
I am writing from Manila. We had a terrific (and busy) time in India. We were with the homeless people in the slums, in rural villages and with Vijay's leaders. Also had a great meeting with Alan's friend Simpson. Looks like we are going to partner with him 1) to get clean water around India by training his leaders 2) to reach two unreached people groups in Orissa-VIjay is going work with him using audio scriptures.
I didn't really get a chance to say goodbye properly on our last day (I was suffering from the bug that got you. I hope you got over it faster than I did--it took me almost a week). I just wanted to say thank you for your amazing ministry to the children of Uganda. Once again, it was such a delight to minister with you. You are a very gifted and precious lady. Hopefully, the Lord will open lots ore doors for you in the Impact world. Bless you. Steve
