This has been a brilliant journey. In the name of Jesus, people were healed in their bodies, minds and hearts.

In one village, as we were going from house to house inviting people to the evening celebration, I met an elderly lady who was in a great deal of pain. She said she believed God was punishing her for all the sins of her past lives. I told her about Jesus and that He forgives all our sins, and that He wants to take her burdens away. The message was simple and powerful- she didn't have to carry her sin anymore! So she received Christ, there on her front porch :) Her whole family watched as we tended to her and prayed with her. I could see the impact this had on the whole family :) His love had broken down a barrier of lies that had been keeping her from the sweet resting place that is Jesus!  As we sat there together, a butterfly flew out of her house and circled her before flying away.

I felt to tell her- "Where I come from, a butterfly is a symbol of transformation, I believe God sent this beautiful butterfly to you this moment, as a message that this is the day of transformation for you, He loves you that much" :)

Vijay's team here in India are committed to working with God to bring about transformation.

They keep track of all the salvations that take place so they can call people into community, disciple and comfort them in their new life with Jesus.

I highly recommend supporting both Impact Nations and the Friends Meet ministry here in Vizag. They are men and women of God, who know what it means to Love God and each other.  It is this love that changes everything.

I know I'm not the same - Thank you Abba <3

Pain and healing, light and darkness, grief and hope- all in the same places at the same time... with clarity of purpose and a steady diet of laughter (not to mention the best Indian food I've ever tasted) this adventure is by far the most eye-opening and growth inducing chances I've ever taken :)
