We going to visit The Jail and we`ll do “The First Christian Festival”...Will be great, they`ve never had something like that. And we`ll have more…you could visit every feeding center, where we have 100 to 500 children depending of the place… you will be able to cook for them and play with they. We will do medical brigade to attend sick and poor people, and Evangelist Crusade at night. You`ll know our beach and you be able enjoy playing and eating seafood. And we showing folkloric stores so you can buy souvenirs of you trip to our country. Hurry up! Don`t think more about that…you will not regret.
A big welcome to Impact Nations and Nakuru Village. blessings from Sue
We are off to Nicaragua in a few hours. Have you seen the recent Nakuru projects that we are doing with Mike Brawan? Do you know Mike. He oversees about 50 churches and is a member of the city council. We are working with him to get women and their kids out of the prison in Nakuru. We should talk sometime about what we are both doing in Nakuru. Maybe we could connect on a project. Bless you, Steve
It has been a while since we have written. I suddenly realized this morning that I haven't told you I will be in Nakuru around Jan 13.
I am meeting with a pastor who is working in Nakuru--here is his contact info, plus the other man I am working with. Do you know either of them?
The Honorable Kennedy Nyagudi

What is the name of your guy in Kenya? I will see if Kennedy or Mike know him. He may even be coming to the pastors conference I am attending at Kiserian.
Let me know--and have a great Christmas.
Steve
Make a child smile this Christmas.
I may have met Rod once or twice - I know a couple of the Canadian guys really well. There is a great relationship between the Canadian and Australian offices.
Overall I think Compassion has 4 or 5 projects running in Nakuru. All run out of local churches, all focusing primarily on child development with kids 4 to late teens. The project our church supports is through the Free Area Kenya Assemblies of God church. They also run a child survival program working with pregnant mums and little ones up until they move into the child development program. There are 55 mums and 55 bubs in the program at thee moment. TLCF fully funds this child survival program as well as sponsoring around 40 kids in the child development program. We've also been able to help out with some expansions to the church building so they can increase the reach of their ministry. The Pastor's name is Wallace Mbugua.
Do you know a guy named Rod Forrest? He is a VP of Compassion Canada and a friend of mine. Can you let me know a bit of what you are doing in Nakuru. It looks like I will be in Kisii for a few days the 3rd week in October and may be able to stop in Narkuru for a couple of hours.
