Well since being away in Ugand the Chicken house is now built and in fact there was room to put two houses. All we need now is the chickens. This will significantly help the cost for providing for our 46 children who I live with. 200 chickens will cost around $1500 and we will need to make sure that we give them…See More

The Nkwazi Story

Our journey to Nkwazi was one of expectation and a renewal of friendship with Pastor Jane and her husband Evaristo. Jane came to the clinic we held there on the last day in 2008. We were tight on time and so I was helping out taking blood pressure of the 100’s that came to attend it. Nkwazi has a population of 300, 000 people in a ‘ghetto’ style suburb. Mains water and electricity are virtually non-existent. Alcoholism and drugs ravaged the out of work population giving many of them over to…See More

Asthma healed

So many healings... one 18 year old boy called Ben said that he had pain in his chest when he breathed deeply. His breathing was shallow and I prayed in the name of Jesus. His breathing instantly became better. To make the point I asked him to run as fast as he could for 1 minute and I would wait for him to let me know what difference he felt. He came back and with great exuberance and laughter telling me that there was not one bit of pain and that he had not been able to run without intense…See More

"A happy child makes a toy at Christmas"
Each year the Christian ministry SHADDAI the direction of the Holy Spirit is dedicated to spread joy and hope to all children attending the Children's Dining in different areas of the city of Chinandega. Precisely in the Christmas season, especially when dominated and growing sense of peace, love, solidarity and love of neighbor. The task is not easy, and that starts months before the request for support to each and every one of the good-hearted people who want to make a child happy at Christmas, for it sent a mass invitation to contribute to this noble cause with almost a token contribution, in this case 2010, we have determined to request an offering of $ 5.00 for each child, as these funds are invested in bring a lunch, a piñata and conclude with the presentation of a toy for each child.

The greatest satisfaction of all the team of Christian Ministry "El Shaddai" is to receive the invaluable prize of smiling children shouting for joy when you receive a lunch, a piñata and a toy in many cases not expecting these Christmas.

Only our Heavenly Father makes possible what many consider difficult.
God Bless ALL that good-hearted support year after year this worthy cause for children Chinandega.

"Every man according as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver."

I was wondering about bringing some Proclaimers when we come to Burundi. Proclaimers are produced by Faith Comes By Hearing http://www.faithcomesbyhearing.com/proclaimer
If we do bring them what language or languages should we bring?
Looking forward to seeing you and Sheena in November.
Kenneth.

Hi again,
I am looking for a couple of good Zambia pics-I saw some last year from our afternoon in that village where the team just wandered about. I was the one where you and Sheena led so many children to Jesus. Do you or Sheena have any pics of that village, or something else that is quintessentially African from the JOC?
