RK this is a great report; it really helps people see what we were doing and understand the faithfulness of God in response to their prayers. Thank you so much for all you contributed. I pray you go from glory to glory as you persevere in Hawaii.

Fun in Kalonga

Posted on June 9, 2011 at 1:00pm 0 Comments

Releasing transformation is "big fun" (as Steve would say). I tend to take more of a facilitators role on the JOC trips, but I love it when I get on the front line. One thing we have observed in some countries is that people are so downtrodden that even when they are healed they don't respond much. But not this time! This photo was taken in the Ugandan village of Kalonga, and I distinctly remember this woman. When God healed her eyesight she was so excited to see clearly at a distance that she… Continue

JOC Update from Mityana, Uganda

Posted on May 16, 2011 at 7:24am 0 Comments

I told the team during orientation that lately we have literally saved a life on every trip, so to expect that. The first patient through the door on Saturday turned out to be that patient. A mom brought in a very sick baby boy who was near death. The medical team jumped into action, we all prayed, and within a short time we could see improvement. I'll let one of the nurses tell the more detailed story, but for me it is worth getting on planes and leaving my family behind, knowing that we…

Hello from Gitega

Posted on November 14, 2010 at 7:31am 1 Comment

I only have time for a quick hello from an internet cafe in Gitega Burundi. The JOC team is great and we're working hard and enjoying all that God is doing; hundreds of healings and salvations, plus lives saved in the medical clinics. Tomorrow we drive further into the mountains to do a clinic in a field for the pygmy people, then return to Burundi to minister in orphanages, a clinic and a prison. We'll post some fabulous pictures and testimonies when we can. Thanks for your prayers.

A Riot of Giving

Posted on June 16, 2010 at 5:45am 4 Comments

Monday night our team of 47 had a party unpacking all the donations we had brought for the Haitian people. It was happy mayhem as we unloaded and sorted many hundreds of kilos of clothing, shoes, household goods, toiletries, school supplies and toys. We separated out some that are designated for a school, some for an orphanage, and the rest will be available daily at our clinics at a "free store" to bless those who come. At Impact Nations we believe in rescuing the whole person; physically,… Continue

Hi Christina; just getting started with IN.. we'd made a journey in Feb 2009 to Amalapuram India to meet Lilly Pushpa who we ministered with for a week or so... but just recently came across IN site and worked with Doug to set up project for her. Found out that Vijay team is only a bit over 200 km from Lilly's location. We hope to return sometime soon to see progress... also hoping to get a water well drilled for her village. Great work going on in that area with Vijay and others :)

"A happy child makes a toy at Christmas"
Each year the Christian ministry SHADDAI the direction of the Holy Spirit is dedicated to spread joy and hope to all children attending the Children's Dining in different areas of the city of Chinandega. Precisely in the Christmas season, especially when dominated and growing sense of peace, love, solidarity and love of neighbor. The task is not easy, and that starts months before the request for support to each and every one of the good-hearted people who want to make a child happy at Christmas, for it sent a mass invitation to contribute to this noble cause with almost a token contribution, in this case 2010, we have determined to request an offering of $ 5.00 for each child, as these funds are invested in bring a lunch, a piñata and conclude with the presentation of a toy for each child.

The greatest satisfaction of all the team of Christian Ministry "El Shaddai" is to receive the invaluable prize of smiling children shouting for joy when you receive a lunch, a piñata and a toy in many cases not expecting these Christmas.

Only our Heavenly Father makes possible what many consider difficult.
God Bless ALL that good-hearted support year after year this worthy cause for children Chinandega.

"Every man according as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver."

Thank you Christine! My husband has never gone or considered going (seriously) on a mission. I was thinking this would be a wonderful opportunity to work with him (as I work in the Healing Rooms here, and he is a medical doc). .... However, he is finishing up a very busy summer and work is crazy for him so it would definitely have to be a God thing if he were to come. I would probably wait for him to go, but will also be listening to God on this. It would be fantastic to go with Heidi and all of you.
