Who Benefits?

  1. People trapped in poverty begin to take steps out with proper infrastructure: clean water, food, education, medicine, etc.
  2. Local leaders are trained and developed to increase the long-term impact of their organization
  3. Network members can see the results of their compassion and generosity strategically and transparently

Partners propose projects for their villages. If the network gets behind it, the project is funded. Then the partners report on the website for all to see.

Running a Project

1. Proposal

Email doug@impactnations.com with the village, the project name, a one paragraph description and the reason why it's necessary. and some numbers (e.g. how many people to help, how many things to build, meals to serve, etc.). Include a few pictures of the village, a simliar project, the location, or the people. If it needs to happen by a specific date, give about one month's notice. Send a budget in your local currency, breaking down each expense on a separate line. Doug will post the project on the website.

2. Fundraising

As soon as someone donates, you can see the progress on the side bar under "Most Recent Donations". You can encourage giving by adding information to your proposal, or saying thank you. Just click on the link on the side bar and add your update. When the project is fully funded, Impact Nations sends you the money. Don't spend anything until you receive the money.

3. Reporting

As you spend the money and do the work, post updates by clicking on the sidebar link. Take a picture of any receipts you get and upload them by clicking the picture icon in the update box. Upload pictures of the work being done, the completed job, show the people benefitting, tell stories. When the reporting is sufficient, you are eligible to receive funds for your next project.
