“I wish I could go but…”

Is a lack of finances stopping you from answering the call of God on your life? Have you been longing to join us for a Journey of Compassion, but each year you find yourself coming up short?

It’s time to change your thinking. The Bible has plenty to say about this. Paul gave some helpful instruction to the church in Corinth:

On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned. Don’t wait until I get there and then try to collect it all at once.
      1 Corinthians 16:2, NLT

Paul knew that people had the heart to give, but he recognized that if their generosity wasn’t paired with careful planning, the results would not be the same (see Proverbs 21:5). If you want to be ready when the Lord says, “Go”, it will require planning. We can help you with that!

How to Raise Support

Here are a few resources and tips to effectively raise funds for a Journey of Compassion!

Start a crowd funding page! With a personalized crowdfunding page, people recognize that they are giving directly to your Journey of Compassion. Share the page with friends and family. Share it through email, facebook, text, or any other social media.

When you register for a Journey of Compassion, you will receive an information email. In the email, you will find a link to the generic Journey crowdfunding page. This video will help you set up and customize your own page.

Try, Try Again!

People want to support your Journey! But people are busy. The first time you share your page may not be a convenient time for them. Remind them a few days or weeks later and it may just be a more convenient opportunity that time...
