Impact Nations

NEED:
As we are going for Village Out treach ministry every month, we are seeing lots of health problems in Villages and there are hardly any hospitals in them, even if present they have to travel more than 5 kms
.
WHO:
There are good number of Medical team in our prayer partners and team consisting of Doctors, Nurses and Para medics.
So, for each Medical Camp, there will be a minimum of 2 Doctors, 3 nurses and 15 volunteers who are trained by medical professionals, treating minimum 200 people per clinic.

WHERE:
Only in Villages And tribal areas.

HOW OFTEN:
Once in every 2 months (If we have funds, we will do it monthly).

STRATEGY:
We have highly qualified Doctor whose calling is to serve the people in Villages. He along with 2 well experienced nurses will lead the Clinic every month. They are the in charges for the Clinics. Every month we are planning for different doctors and nurses as per their availability. There are few Christian Doctors who are willing to work with us.

BUDGET:( for one Clinic)
    Medicines: 6,000 Rupees
    Transportation :1,500 Rupees
Arrangements: 500 Rupees (like Chairs, tables, tenets etc.)
    Food for 20   : 1,000 Rupees
                 Total: 9,000 Rupees.

OUT COMES:
Along with the medical camps, we are also planning for door to door health awareness programs, we will pray for every sick person, we have learnt this in JOC, follow the 5 steps.
We will see that the clinics we do will be mostly near the Church premises if there is Church in that village, or if there is no Church there, we will see that a Pastor from the nearby Church is present with us that day. So, attract many people to Christ and Church.

Results:
Improvement of the Health in that particular area
Diagnose the problems in a very early stage
Many sick will be healed by God
Edification of the Church
Rapport with the Village Elders and Villagers, so can do many things like proclaimers project.

THE WORK BEGAN BY YOU WILL CONTINUE BEFORE AND AFTER THE JOC IN OUR AREA.

Pas.Steve,thank you once again.
Love and prayers,
Vince and Nancy

Vijay's update:

Thank you so much for all your prayers and encouragement.
Our 1st Village Medical Clinic was a big success. All glory to Him alone.

Details:
1st Medical Clinic, In Neelavathi Village, 31ST March, 2010.

A team of 2 Doctors and 21 volunteers from Vizag have started here at 7a.m and we reached Neelavathi Village by 9a.m. Then there we met our local Church team and they set up everything so well by then. They told us that they announced in 3 nearby villages about the Clinic. Then at once we all Including the Doctors have started for door to door Health Awareness program and returned there before 10 a.m. By then the patients were waiting.

We've taken a small primary school.
The treatment went on like this,

1. ENTRANCE:  At the entrance was Dinesh, who gave them a small piece of paper with a serial number and showed them the place to sit.
We had a small tent and 40 chairs for the people to come and sit.

2. NAIL CUTTING: 3 volunteers were given gloves and nail cutters to cut every person's nail.We found out they were so black, dusty, hard, broken with whitish lines on them. We could tell that majority are suffering with vitamin deficiencies. We also heard them happily saying to each other that no one ever did it for them.

3.INVITATION:  Babji would call out the serial number and the person was lead to reception.

4.RECEPTION: At the reception were Sunny and Sailaja. They asked their name, age, health problems and recorded them both in the Prescription sheet and in a separate sheet. And 2 BP apparatus were set up there itself and  Mounica and Jayasree checked everyone's BP and recorded them too.

5. DOCTOR'S CHECK UP: From there, Kalyani and Vinod led them to the Doctors and were sent in for check up. (A small room in the school with 4 chairs, 2 for Doctors and 2 for patients).

6.PHARMACY: The Medical clinic in charges sis. Nirmala and  Madhavi were there and gave them medicines as per Doctor's prescription
.
7. PRAYER CHAMBER: From the pharmacy every single person were led to the prayer chamber where 4 of our team were present there and prayed for every one who got the Medicine.

8.CLINIC TIMINGS:The clinic started at 10 a.m and closed at 3 p.m without lunch break.

9. NUMBER OF PATIENTS TREATED: 232
9.TOTAL COST OF THE CLINIC: 12,812/- rupees.
10. Planning to conduct a Clinic once in every 2 months.

We did this Clinic with the help of the local Church with a Vision to heal the people (physically, spiritually and emotionally), to improve their environment and living conditions and ultimately win them for Christ and add the new believers to the local  Church and we saw that happening already.

Thank you for your valuable prayers and partnership.

Continuing in His Vision,
Vijay Chris.

Dear Friends,
Thank you so much for your valuable help to the 1st Village Medical Clinic.

You gave, we worked and God started doing miracles and healings and the testimonies are still pouring out.
Many Hindus are coming to the Church for the first time, Many are expressing that they are so moved by our services especially the nail cutting part and the prayers. The Hindu Doctor who joined us for the Clinic was so impressed and promised he will continue to come for the rest of the Clinics. He also says, " I have attended many camps, but this one is so special. The organising, the team work, prayers, above all, the satisfaction on the faces of the Villagers makes me proud to be a part of this Clinic."

Thank you friends.

Right now we are Organising Bible school which started on 3rd May. we've focused on Second Line Leaders, Village Pastors and students who are passionate for ministry but cannot afford to go to regular Bible Schools. The faculty is also coming from different places in India. The students (58) turned from whole Andhra Pradesh , School will continue till 22nd. God's presence is so rich in every session and He has miraculously provided us finances till now. Yet we need to pay the remaining bills. Please continue to pray for us. Today's topic - MISSIONS. Hey, if you are a gifted Bible teacher, please join us for the next Bible School. We love to have you here.

Next Village clinic will be on 29th, May.
Village- Burada padu, Vizayanagaram.
Total people will be treated- 200 to 250.

My Family and our team are regularly praying for you.
