Thanks Joan! I know our dream is to see revival come to our city Metro Vancouver and for her communities to be transformed by the love and justice of the Kingdom. I am so thankful that we can both pray for revival in our city and step out to see this happen one person at a time at Stamps Place. His compassion has already blessed many people in this low income-housing complex and this will happen again on February 12, 2011.

I've been following the exciting reports from the India JOC and I want to see these signs and wonders in my own community! VALENTINES DAY IS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO LET PEOPLE KNOW GOD LOVES THEM ! Please join us on Saturday, February 12th for our outreach into Stamps housing complex. Time and again we have seen God touch the people there with his love and healing power and as we continue to reach out we sense an increasing openness and presence of God. Will you be part of bringing God's light into the darkness? We need to know that we have a team for this outreach, so please let us know if you can come or you are willing to pray. Also we are looking for people who are able to bake cookies or provide Valentines candy for the goodie bags we will be giving out along with a message of God's love. We look forward to having you join us.

Joan and I want to take a moment and thank every person who contributed
to the success of our Christmas outreach at Stamps Place last night:
1. For the cookies and squares that were baked, thank you!
2. For those who helped put the goodie bags and Christmas tracks together thank you!
3. For Anita and Merrilyn at the Life Center who copied and rolled the tracks, thank you!
4. For every prayer, thank you!
5. For the team that when door to door, thank you!
6. For the folks who live and Stamps place who are Jesus to us, thank you!

We see Christ in your lives  as you worship Him by serving the people at Stamps Place!


It is such an honor to go to Stamps Place to give away the love and blessing of the Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). We are learning how to be “The Friends of Stapes Place”,
where we are bring the love of Jesus and the blessing of His Kingdom to
the hundreds of people who live in this housing complex. As a team last
night, there were many significant interactions as we went door to door. If
you were part of one, more of these meetings, please hold these persons
up in prayer and let Joan, or I know if there is any follow up that is
needed. Please think of any testimonies of how the Lord touched a
person and please email these to Joan or myself
(dancingjohng@yahoo.ca). We would ask that all pray that lives would be
changed because the love and light of Jesus visited Stamps last night.
Also, pray that many people will read “The Perfect Gift” gospel message
and give their lives to Jesus.

We, “The Friends of Stamps Place”, have seen many people touched by the love and power of the Kingdom of
heaven over 2010 Hallelujah We as a team will press on with our
outreaches on a monthly bases in 2011, We will be doing a winter theme
outreach in January 2011. (Stay tuned for the date on this.) If you
have a creative ideal for this let us, know!

Nevertheless, I cannot stop dreaming:
1. Dreaming of a day when we have birthed an ongoing outreach programs to the hundreds of children and teens
2. Dreaming of a Alpha for stamps
3. Dreaming of a house church planted at or near Stamps Place
4. Dreaming of notable miracles
5. Dreaming of Stamps Place becoming a transformed community walking in the blessing of the Father’s heart of love
 I place these dreams in Jesus’ hands and continue to encourage “The Friends Of Stamps Place" to do the small things in love and leave it to Him give us opportunities
to step into the things he has on His heart for us to do to bless His
children who live at Stamps.

Joan and I are in the process of working out the details on for a Christmas outreach at Stamps Place on Dec 22, 2010. We hope to have as large a team as we can gather with several people who can lead in singing carols. Look for more details soon

I am dying, dying to the things of the flesh – pride, lust anger, gossip etc. It is the love of the Father that is transforming who I am and allowing the flesh life to die. Day by day, I am learning keep in step with the Holy Spirit. This process is releasing me to love and forgive others and myself. Please watch this video clip that came via Marilyn Gray and then ask for Holy Sprit’s love glasses!

As we go today to bless the people at Stamps place let us put on the Holy Spirit and release the love of Jesus to the people we meet.

If you do an outreach for Thanksgiving I will try to be involved depending on the day because I have a wedding I am in that weekend. I would love to be involved in something at Christmas. Keep me up to date. Keep pressing in!

HI!
A BIG thanks to all those who helped with the Mother's Day flower give away. We as a team are planting seeds. Actually, we are throwing handful after handful of seeds into this housing development; without each of you, we would not be able to do this. Joan and I are blessed to have so many great people helping us! May the Son shine on your life!

Summer Schedule

• Joan and I are looking for a person/or persons to head up a Father’s Day Outreach while we are away in Haiti on an Impact trip. If you are interested in leading the team on this outreach please let us know this week or next and we can help you organize this (Joan has a great idea for a giveaway)

• Barbeques And Activities Days
o July 19 - 5:30 – 7:00pm

o Aug. 2 - 4:00 – 7:00pm

o Sept 4 - 4:00 – 7:00pm

• There are two things we will need have in place to assure we can do these Barbeques And Activities Days:

o Regarding the activities that we can do, if you have a suggestion and/or are willing to help with an activity that children or children and adults would enjoy doing let us know and on what dates you would be able to help with this (Joan will be recruiting some of you to do activities she hopes to see happen)

o To fund the cost of the barbeques and activities well I we will need $100 for food and drinks and $50 to for activities for each day. (For a total coast of $450.00 (this may change up or down as we seek how much food is consumed))

• Joan and I will continue to follow up with people who have asked for a visit from a member of a team.

You may have notices that we have changed the name of our Village from “Stamps Place” to “Friends of Stamps Place” This is the result of a realization that the heart of this ministry is far deeper that a monthly outreach. At its core, it is a call on us to become friends to the poor; the widows, the orphans the refugees, the disenfranchised, and other marginalized people at Stamps Place.

We will continue with outreach activities (more information on Mother's Day will be out next week), but over time, we are looking for others who will join us to become friends of the poor at Stamps Place.
