Impact Nations

Did you know that Impact Groups and Projects are contagious? Yes they are. EVERYBODY wants to make a difference which is why we need to model the purpose.

On February 14, the Re:LIFE group descended upon the drop-in centre again to feed between 1,200 and 1,400 clients. This time however we were joined by another social group in the city.

We broke the record of fastest time of all meals served, 18 minutes, because we had so many volunteers! There were more than 25 of us on Valentine's day no less.

So now what? Our mission has expanded and we are upping the ante. We will be exploring other projects that require much more work.

We have also been building a relationship with an African gentleman named Leonard who has a huge heart of compassion and justice in Africa. It turns out he is somewhat a celebrity out there which may lead to projects in Tanzania!

We hope these stories encourage everybody out there that doing an Impact Group or local Impact Projects do NOT have to be a religious experience. They are a fantastic way to just build relationships and LOVE everybody. Isn't that what we are called to do?
