I was fortunate to be in Vizag to help with feeding the poor this week. The impact is huge to those they meet on the streets. The work that goes into preparing a meal for aprox. 130 people every week is tremendous and takes hours. This is all done with a one burner stove, big pots and with people with huge hearts to serve. Here is just a small look at the preparations..
Permalink Update from Vince Carter on November 26, 2011 at 7:11am In Novemeber, we were able to go out on the streets to the beggers and railway people once each week. We have a team of 10 to 12 people who each week prepare the food of egg curry, rice, potato, green peas, banana, Dahl, orange and water. Items are cooked and bagged so each person receives a full meal. In Novemeber, we were able to install a permanent gas connection for our stove and we want to thank Velta Daigneault for making that possible. We were able to serve 523 people this month due to your generosity. It is your donations that help us to feed the hungry on the streets of Vizag. and we much appreciate you continuing to support this important mission each month. The minstry is very happy for the support as it allows them to continue what God has put on their hearts.
