Payatas Pastoral Family Care Movement
Dear Brother Steve,
A blessed day to you our brother in Christ!
We have known the good news from our sister Ester, and we are very thankful to our Lord for that news for it is the answer to our prayers. We are very glad to open a ministry of feeding for children because they really need foods for their hungry stomachs. There are lots of children here in Payatas and some of them came from a very poor family that eat once a day, and because of this situation the children are very weak and malnourish. That’s why it is very helpful to have this ministry in our place to feed them at least once a week with nutritious food. Your help is very helpful to start the ministry. Our prayer must be our works so that the will of the Lord be done in our plans.
In this letter we include our proposal regarding the feeding program:
1. The title of the feeding program will be: CHILDREN’S SMILE Ministry
Because if we look to the children who are hungry we cannot see the smile in their face but once they are full after eating, we will see the joy and hope through their SMILE. The SMILE of the Children’s is very important and it is the sign that they are ready to hear the Word of God.
2. Our MISSION STATEMENT: To provide foods for every childof Payatas and make a big difference in their life knowing that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Saviour and the Provider.
3. Our VISSION STATEMENT: A children of Payatas, who is smart and healthy that will become the future leader of Family, Church and of our Community.
4. How would the meal cost?
Ph P10.00 per child for a bowl of Savory Soupy rice with chicken and/or Pork meat
PhP10.00 X 100 children = Ph P1, 000 X 6 churches =Ph P6, 000
5. How frequent would we want to do it?
Once a week X 6 churches a week X 100 children = 600 children once a week
With 47 churches (affiliated with PPFCM) divided by 6 looks like 8 weeks rotation before the 1st 6 churches are able to do it again.
This is our Proposals. Let us Continue to Pray and let the Good Lord provide us all the financial and materials and people whom He will use for this ministry. Thank you for love and care.
God bless us all!
