So precious!  Saira is looking healthy and well cared for since the time I saw her in March. God is so good. Wish I was there with you Steph. Thanks for the update.  I'd like to contribute.  Is it possible to see a proposed budget? Also, can you give an update on mom?

Doug Penner Update from Doug Penner on July 2, 2011 at 1:07pm

Steph is in Haiti with baby Saira (click here for pic and update) and is proposing $250/mo. to cover ongoing costs. Helping baby Saira (Saena? hospital card says "Saira") is not an official Impact Nations project; it was an initiative of individuals on the ground during our Journey of Compassion. Feel free to give directly to Reginald for this at http://www.liflimhaiti.org/

From Steph on facebook: "Saira was rescued from the tent city in jacmel Haiti a few months ago she was a premature baby who has faced many challenges due to medical issues and also being abandoned I last was with her two months ago and she was very fragile At that time i am happy to see how much she has grown and was able to see her today. She is placed in a pastors home in a village outside jacmel impact nations gave the pastors 6 months worth of support to feed her back in march and when I arrived last night I found out she had no food and becauSe of medical expenses the money ran out sooner I brought her some formula and was told after I gave it to her care givers that if I hadn't have brought the food they would have had nothing to feed her today so I am happy I found this out...."

It has been 4 months since Saena was saved for near death and I'm wondering if there is anyone who has an update!? I filed my report about our trip to Jacmel Haiti late last night on the page, Stories from Haiti. It was emotional, missing each one of you and our crazy memories. I guess its been almost a month since we arrived home and life has been full speed ahead. How are you all? L,AM

Hey remember I told you that Steph Forester was going to Haiti and working with Reginald to create a video documentary? Well I was just talking with Reg and he told me yesterday Steph met with the newly elected president Michel Martelly and he's going to endorse the film! You can follow her progress at http://www.stephprojecthaiti.com
Renee Stephens Update from Renee Stephens on March 23, 2011 at 12:27pm
What an incredible trip!  I arrived home early this a.m. and never thought my bed could feel so good. It was such a pleasure to partner up with a team from four nations, passionately in love with Jesus, and walking in a Spirit of Excellence. Bless you all.
