Impact Nations

We have made contact with a pastor friend of Adam's in the Dominican Republic who is willing to truck food, supplies and medicine directly to Pastor Eddy and the people Christina was working with.

Updates to This Project

Carol Anne will be able to check with HPI on Wednesday. If that doesn't work, there's a Pharmacy in McKenzie that is willing to supply the medicine.
Pastor Borrel (DR) is currently trucking food to Carrefour. It should be there by Wednesday morning. So the truck should be back Thursday, ready for a medical shipment.
Now trying to verify if the road is safe, or whether all the food will be taken before he can get to Carrefour.
Pascual will be driving all night tonight to reach the Jimine border crossing at 6:30 to 7:00AM in a yellow school bus that says, "Eglise" and "Bavaro Para Cristo" in big letters. He will also have a sign, "Pastor Eddy Francois" in the window. He wants a call before he crosses to Haiti, he wants to hear that Pastor Eddy will meet him, or perhaps some other instruction. Pastor Eddy should put a sign up, "Pastor Pascual Borrel"
The truck made it through(!) and is back in the DR. I'm waiting for Pascual to get home then we'll discuss how to get the meds in.
To get to Haiti was incredible - see hundreds of people wandered the streets, without direction… .A country in ruins, hundreds of people gathered together, makeshift homes rag sanabas, canvas, it's amazing what happens there.

Went by the center of the capital of the country to get a place called Carrefour and saw that there has not arrived no help.

Streets full of debris, people searching through the rubble in hopes of finding someone alive, we note garbage cans on the corpses, the main streets full of international military, debris and garbage everywhere.

When the time of sharing, distributing food for 5,000 people where hundreds with hunger is not an easy task, but we did our best, we take the risks which arise and go up the neediest, could deliver aid to over 6 churches with orphanages, these churches have camps with over 2500 people each sleeping on the floor, desperate people, water and food.

Joined pastors and thank God what could meet queiró, that aid reaches the neediest.

Thank you all for your cooperation and assistance, let us help Haiti, motivate yourself and continue to provide, our next trip will be coming soon, make your cooperation.

May God richly bless

Thank the team that when with us: Benign Tiburcio, Sandy Mazara, Juan Carlos, Moses, Augusto Wisva, Ungido, Douglas Borrell, and everyone who was praying for us ....

This is awesome, thanks Doug...
May want to check with MAP international in the US - similar to HPI - but American (and I think already on the ground in Haiti) www.map.org
Also - Jaipaul and Sarah Papabathini have a contact they are going down there with - may want to check with them in terms of shipment possibilities and contacts.
Hope these help.
From Mac: Christina Stewart from Impact Nations was in Pastor Eddy's house during the quake. She called me this afternoon to say that a Doctor in Chicago says, "I can go, where should I go" We discussed, that if Pastor Pascual decides to make a second trip to Carrefour, then perhaps the Doctor could fly to Santo Domingo with a suitcase of medicine, meet Pascual, and they could drive to Carrefour together. Doug Penner will know where and who the doctor is.
Thanks Doug for taking the time to translate that message. I appreciate all you are doing.
Praise God that He protected the bus and got the medicine through!
I brings tears to my eyes that these people would risk thir lives to get the food into Carrfour. I wonder if they actually connected with Pastor Eddy? And is there an update on Eunice? I continue to fervently pray that the aid would get specifically to those who I spent the aftermath with. Thank you Jesus.
