Impact Nations

Working with Robert Mponye (our Impact Nations partner in Uganda) and Hannington VIctor (pastor in
Bulera), we are continuing in the process of bringing long-term sustainable
transformation to Bulera.

Two months ago, the electricity project was completed, providing power to the school .Now it is time to move to the next phase. There are almost 200 students
in the school. They receive
6 ounces of corn porridge per day.
In April, we sent one of Robert’s key men (Cyprian) to Zimbabwe to learn Foundations for Farming, an
agricultural program that has been successful in 25 countries, vastly improving
the quantity and quality of crops. Cyprian has now come back and trained
Hannington and his key people in Foundations for Farming.

Now it is time to get to work on the two acres of land behind the school. Using the new principles learned, Hannington will be able to
provide enough vegetables for every student to receive a highly nutritious meal
daily. The impact upon their lives is obvious–and immense.
This is sustainable, because once the crop is harvested, there will be enough to feed the children, and provide all the seed necessary for the
next crop (which will be bigger still).
The first request that Jesus taught us to make in His Prayer was, “Give us this day our daily bread.”
The key word in this prayer is us
. If Jesus cared enough about
the 5,000 to feed them the bread and fish, I am sure He cares about the poor of
the world.
This is our opportunity to rescue and transform the lives of 200 children for $2,760. If not us, then who?

Hi pastor.
Praise God
Am happy to learn that you are still busy with God work.
God bless you and mum Christina. I pray for you always. Cyprian gave me a great teaching which washed the idea of tractor out of my mind. So now i have to use manual labour only. Each acre will take fifteen men per day ie prisoners each cost five thousand shillings.

Maize 200 Kgs times 2000/=                                                           =      400,000/=
Beans 200 Kg2 times 3500/=                                                           =      700,000/=
Fertilizer 10 bags of 100kgs for 20 acre times 100,000/=                 =    1,000,000/=,
Transport 50000 times 20 trips                                                         =   1,000,000/=
Food for fifteen workers for 20 turns  times 15000/=for @ day         =      300,000
15 hoes, 5000/=@                                                                             =       75,000/=
5 pangas, 5000/=@                                                                           =        25000/=
Round up 20 litters                                                                            =      190000/=
Spray pump                                                                                       =      150000/=
Workers per month two only, 100000/= @ for four month                    =    800,000/=                                                                                                  Total      =  4,640,000/=
That budget is for 2o acres but God's provision determines what we have to do in terms of acrages.
I pray that God will provide the best for us.
God bless you.
