school supplies and one meal per day for 120 students for one year budget: $7,750 ($65/student) |

There are 120 students at the Bouvier School now. We helped fund them for 2011. The next project is to fund them each for 2012 - this time for a meal a day at school and their schooling supplies. We have already started fundraising for them and as we are to be advertising this project widely through schools in NSW. There is already so much interest here and some people are already waiting to donate - we know we can complete this project!!
God is blessing each step we take with His favour! As we posted last year, these Bouvier kids are so much safer and happier at their school on the mountain. Many used to have to treck 6 or more hours to Port-au-Prince - at risk of rape and abduction (this happened to some, and that is why Reggie started the school up there). Now they are safe at their little christian school, in their ramshackle tiny school building.

Dear Impact Nations family and friends, we sponsored all the students for all this year and we are so excited to say such a huge THANK YOU TO YOU ALLl for sponsoring these children for this year of their schooling! We were so privileged to meet and photograph all the children so that we found out who they all are.
The children live on the remote mountains surrounding their Bouvier school. They love going to school. No longer do they have to treck to the city for this privilege – a treck that constantly put them at risk. On their mountain they are safe, known throughout the community.
School hours are 8am – 1pm. Most children walk between 1 and 2 hours to school. School used to be in a small dilapidated building – much of which was destroyed in the 2010 earthquake. This year many of you helped us to fundraise to begin the building of their new school. We are still fundraising to complete this wonderful project for them. Please view our special 'THANKYOU PHOTOMOVIE' at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TonKES8oTj8
Thank you so much. Blessings and love, Cheryl
