Impact Nations

Kings Kids is expanding its curriculum to increase vocational training for students.  The school is beginning to teach hands-on agricultural skills.  This training is very beneficial to the students because 70% of Uganda’s economy is generated from agriculture so these lessons will likely be applied throughout the students lives.  There are two important projects that are being initiated at the school.  The first project is teaching the students practical agriculture skills at the Kings Kids farm land.  The school does not have enough tools for the students to use so only limited numbers of students can practice their skills.  Pastor Robert needs to acquire the following farming tools for the students to use: 20 hoes, 20 shovels, and 20 machetes.  Each of these tools costs approximately 10,000 UGX each so the total cost for this project is 600,000 UGX.

Updates to This Project

As you can see these boys have great big smiles on their faces. These tools were purchased for the agricultural program at KIngs Kids Ministries and are also helping to create a green space for the kids to play in.  They have leveled the area and removed all the rocks and sticks so grass can grow. The smiles come from knowing that soon they will be playing their favorite sport, SOCCER.!!!!

Dear Impact Nations family,

I must start with apologies for this long overdue update! Life has been insane here even after my secretary becoming very ill, so she couldn't do all I had put before her! Thanks to all who have been praying for us. God is faithful. She is getting better now but I thought I should go ahead and do this myself after securing a small window of time. We are grateful to you for supporting our vocational life skills that we are endeavoriing to instil in our kids while they are still young. The hoes and machetes that you bought for us are being put to use as children go farming and cleaning their compound. With great joy and excitement our children have seen the change they have put on their compound and their farmland. This month of December, we are going to have some good time planting trees with them, even they clear the ground. I have posted a couple of  photos with the kids putting to use the tools. Thank you again for partnering with us in making these children realise what potential they have in them.
