I went to buy the machine from the supplier you suggested, but they only have one feedback comment, full of spelling mistakes, from "realwomanclothing" which doesn't exist when I Google it.

So I don't trust them. Can you (or anyone else reading this) recommend another supplier?

Thanks

Hi Doug
Its such pleasant news to hear that the procument of the USS is at an
advanced stage.
We will begin to sensitize the Local Leadership of Binga so that they

Email from Dr. Dhodho in Zimbabwe:

I am so thrilled about this development. I cant wait to go to Binga
and get the whole top leadership to witness what hearts full of love
can do even from afar. let the people of God be blessed.

Went and saw one of our radiologists who advised me to link up with a
certain company in Zimbabwe that supplies USS. So right now i am
waiting for them to email me the model. I am thinking we should get a
machine for which there is backup and support. If they are too
expensive then we buy a machine that they can assist us with support
repairs etc. The best was if they can supply

Email from Steve to the church that donated:

I wanted to tell you about one of the projects that your gift to Impact Nations has allowed us to complete. This week, we were delighted to be able to send the funds for an ultrasound machine to Binga, Zimbabwe. This machine will have a huge and immediate impact on the community. Binga District is one of the poorest in Zimbabwe (and that is saying a lot!). There is a high rate of maternal and infant mortality. Dr. Dhodho, our contact there, tells us that most of these deaths and other birth complications are very preventable if they simply can treat them beforehand. The ultrasound machine will allow exactly that. Dr. Dhodhe estimates that 300 women and children will benefit every month. We are having the machine shipped right away.

Please let your church know about how this part of their gift will save lives in Zimbabwe.

Bless you,
Steve

I've been out of town all month so no chance to update, but we received our first donation in August: $70.

Email from Peter after Givemore and his friends purchased medicine for them:

Warm greetings from Zimbabwe and I hope this finds you well. Sorry for the delay in the update but I am glad to report that the scabies medicine eventually got to Binga. Please find attached a recent photo of the MP for Binga, Honorable Sibanda with me handing over the scabies medicine. The medicine we acquired treated just over one hundred people the bulk of them being school children many of whom were failing to attend classes because of the disease.

There is need to acquire more of the medicine as some cases are still surfacing. At the same time there is a dire need to provide some laundry soap for the blankets. The nature of scabies is such that if one is treated but continues using unclean blankets one will be re-infected.

We really appreciate your support to the people of Binga.

God bless you abundantly.
