Founders: 

Steve and Christina Stewart

Albuquerque, NM, USA

During a career of 35 years, alongside his wife, Christina, Steve has established and led Christian schools, worked for a multi-national corporation, and planted eight churches, both directly and by training and releasing teams in BC, Ontario and Russia. Steve held the position of Western Region Overseer on the national board of Vineyard Canada, and along with his wife, brought the first Healing Rooms to Canada, eventually overseeing the formation of Healing Rooms in over 30 communities across the country. In 2005, he founded Impact Nations International Ministries, a network of organizations committed to releasing spiritual, economic and social transformation in the developing world. In his current role at Impact Nations, he travels the world hosting Impact Weekends and mentoring leaders in developing nations under his holistic kingdom vision. In 2012, Steve authored his first book, When Everything Changes: Healing, Justice and the Kingdom of God, about the transformative power of the gospel of the kingdom. In 2015, he leased his second book, The Journey. Both, Steve and Christina also serve as members of the Board. Steve is the President and is also the CEO of Impact Nations. Christina is the Secretary and is our Journey of Compassion Director.

David Pearson

Elmira Heights, NY, USA
David has owned and operated Pearson Construction LLC for 25 years. He, along with his wife Cynthia, founded I Thirst International in 2009. David is certified by Living Water International in well drilling and hand pump repair. David has been volunteering with ImpactNations for over three years. He is passionate to do his small part in Gods expansive kingdom, joining Jesus as He works among the poor bringing spiritual and physical transformation. David, with his wife Cynthia are in charge of Impact Nations water development projects, and community transformation projects.

Cynthia Pearson

Elmira Heights, NY, USA
Cynthia grew up in Central America as a missionary kid. Her experiences as a third culture child gave her a heart for the nations. She is certified in hygiene and sanitation through Lifewater International. Together with her husband, David, they founded I Thirst International in 2009, a non-profit committed to providing clean water in developing nations. They have been volunteering with ImpactNations since 2012. Currently they oversee clean water projects and community transformation. Cynthia does ground coordination on some of the Journeys of Compassion. David and Cynthia have four grown children and reside in the Fingerlakes region of New York State. 

Robert  Fritzke

Abbotsford, BC, Canada
Robert, a CPA, CA with over 25 years of accounting, reporting and audit experience, has worked with a number of businesses and charities during that time. He strongly believes that Christians are called to demonstrate Christ’s love for the nations by ministering to people’s physical, as well as, spiritual needs. He provides financial oversight to Impact Nations.


Karen  Fritzke

Abbotsford, BC, Canada
Karen was initiated into the Impact Nations family on a JOC to Nicaragua in 2012. While on this journey God impressed on her heart an understanding of biblical justice and a longing to see the establishment of the kingdom of God on Earth. From this foundation rose the conviction that a faith community of diverse people from around the world can make a significant difference in the lives of the poor. Being on the Board has positioned Karen to witness kingdom values in action and see how deeply they run through the veins of this organization. In her personal life, she enjoys writing poetry, reading theology, and gardening and has an extensive background in the field of Education. Robert and Karen have three grown sons and live on the west coast of Canada.

Susan Walker

Pendle Hill, NSW, Australia

Sue is a mother of two adult daughters who grew up in New Zealand and moved to Sydney, Australia in the 1980’s where she and her husband Geoff run a Quantity Surveying business. After Sue became a Christian in the late 1980’s she became involved with a group of ladies who demonstrated to her an understanding of the power of prayer. She moved on from this group with the determination that whatever her circumstances or position, she would make prayer the primary tool for putting down foundations and building into the future. Prior to joining Impact Nations Sue served for many years as Prayer Coordinator in two churches, going on to help establish and work as Prayer Coordinator of Healing Rooms Australia until 2008. Sue’s passion to see miracles, signs and wonders as part of the gospel message in evangelism blends with her belief that prayer requires legs on it. Sue went on her first Journey of Compassion in 2009, to the Philippines, where she experienced the reality of this passion. In 2010 Steve invited Sue to join their first JOC to Haiti in the role of Prayer Leader for that journey. From there was she invited to become the Director of Intercession for Impact Nations. In fulfilling that role Sue has continued to travel with Impact Nations growing in her passion for the Lord and for the work that they do.


Nico Duursema

Calgary, AB, Canada

Nico grew up in South Africa. He has always been inspired to make a difference. He is married to Zelda and they have 4 children. They reside in Calgary, Canada. His passion is to touch the hearts of people in all spheres of society. Nico has traveled and worked extensively all over the world. This has exposed him to the beauty of and challenges faced by a diverse group of people. In a world looking for answers, he loves to see God doing the impossible. Nico is a senior executive and has founded a group of companies that build, own and operate a variety of facilities. ND Ventures is a project management company in Calgary, Alberta working with multinationals and First Nations.His goal is to rescue and transform people, projects or businesses; build capacity and deliver service excellence. Nico and Zelda have been involved with Impact Nations since 2011.



Staff:

Dorothy Montano

Albuquerque, NM, USA
Bookkeeper
Dorothy joined Impact Nations staff in January 2016.  Her responsibilities are primarily recording financial transactions and reporting the information as required.  She provides financial reports to the Operations Manager and Board Treasurer as needed. Dorothy has supported Impact Nations since she heard about the ministry through her church.  She also had the opportunity to go on a Journey of Compassion to India in 2015.  It was a special time to see Impact Nations in action meeting spiritual and physical needs.  Dorothy is a native New Mexican and enjoys spending time with family, especially her granddaughters.   She is active in her church serving in ministry usually involving preparing and serving food.  She is sort of retired and is concentrating on becoming physically fit to continue to live her life serving the Lord.



Heather Penner

Abbotsford, BC, Canada
Bookkeeper
Heather loves the vision of Impact Nations and has a passion to see lives rescued and communities transformed by the power of the all-encompassing gospel of the Kingdom of God. She has served as bookkeeper in the Canadian office of Impact Nations since 2011. Heather and her husband Doug live in Abbotsford, BC with their four children. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, watching sports, and coffee dates with friends. 



Jenny Hammit

Albuquerque, NM, USA
Administrator
Jenny has been on staff with Impact Nations since July 2014. She first learned of Steve Stewart and Impact Nations when her home church hosted them for a conference in 2013 and she fell in love with their vision and work they did around the world. It was a tremendous blessing for her when Impact Nations opened a US office in Albuquerque and offered her a position. She loves having the opportunity to represent Impact Nations as she speaks with perspective journeyers, follows up with teams after they return home and takes care of general administrative needs for the organization. She is passionate about people personally encountering Jesus and knows that, whatever roles she fulfills, she has been positioned to serve and be a blessing. Jenny lives in Albuquerque, NM with her husband and their daughter. Short road trips, exploring hiking trails and frequent visits to the Botanic Gardens with her family are some of her favorite things to do.


Richard Mwesigye

Kalonga, Uganda, E. Africa 
Project Manager
Richard is Impact Nations Project Manager in Uganda. He oversees our Kalonga transformation, managing farmland with crops and animals, internet café, tailoring business, Hope and Care school and child sponsorships. Richard is married to Immaculate (Emma) with one daughter. He is passionate about spreading the Kingdom of God and empowering his local community. In his spare time, Richard, likes to play chess, and watch comedies.
